GRL (Gemological Research Laboratory) is the first gem testing lab of the entire Rohilkhand & Uttarakhand region. Our laboratory is at par with the standards maintained in the biggest laboratories of the country.
Our gemologists are trained from reputed institutions like IGI & GIA. Moreover, we use latest instruments from GIA (USA), so that you can be assured of the best professional services.
Our Mission.
Any attractive object is worth copying or imitated in the real world. Gemstones have been copied for the last 6000 years by a variety of materials which can be described as imitations, composite stones or synthetics.
A number of techniques are also used to improve the color and/or appearance of natural and synthetic gemstones. The purpose is to increase their beauty, desirability and hence, their sale-ability.
We, at GRL, offer genuine reports for each gemstone/jewelry which clearly indicates whether its natural, synthetic or if it has been subjected to any treatment.
Each report self explains about the shape, size, color & type of gemstone/jewelry including details of metal present in the jewelry.
Each customer must rely on an Identification report of a genuine laboratory before purchasing any gemstones or diamonds/diamond jewellery.
